Located at the foot of the mountain, on a steep slope covering an area of ​​32,000 square meters, there are 375 terraced fields extending in a stepped manner at the Daisen Senmaida. It is said to be the closest terraced rice field village to Tokyo, and the only one in Chiba Prefecture that was selected as one of the "100 Best Terraced Rice Fields in Japan" designated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. One of the charms of this place is that you can enjoy different scenery depending on the season of transplanting and harvesting rice. In the spring before rice planting, the watered terraced fields reflect the sky like a mirror, in the summer they are bright green, and in the fall the original Japanese scenery of golden rice ears swaying in the wind unfolds.
