Starting from Hama Star Pier, across the No. 1 Boat Canal Observation Bridge (the views on both sides of the bridge are good), I went up the hill along the British Consulate Sightseeing Trail in Dagou and passed the Whistlehead Mountain Moat.
The British Consulate in Dagou is located on a small hill facing the port of Juco. It is the oldest surviving Western-style modern building in Taiwan and the first consulate of the British government in Taiwan.
The red bricks and continuous arch of the corridors of the entire official residence make people feel the elegance and traces of age; brew a cup of tea🍵 at the viewing platform, enjoy the scenery of Kaohsiung Harbor while sipping tea, relaxing.
Finally, gently descend the mountain from the ancient hiking trail.
