Walking Along the Sea – A Stroll Through Sizihwan Scenic Area

Before the sun set in Kaohsiung, I headed to Sizihwan Scenic Area. Upon arrival, the gentle sea breeze and the soothing sound of waves instantly put my mind at ease. The seaside walking path is perfect for a leisurely stroll, and it offers plenty of spots to stop and take beautiful photos.

As you walk along the path, you’ll naturally come across small, old Taoist temples. The faint scent of incense and the tranquil atmosphere make them ideal places to pause and reflect. Moving closer to the beach, you’ll find charming sculptures and murals hidden beneath the hill of the British Consulate (打狗英國領事館), giving you the feeling of walking through a quaint art trail.

Open sea views, serene temples, scenic walking paths, and occasional artistic surprises—this place feels like the perfect destination for a relaxed day.
