The White House Art Village and Qiaotou Sugar Factory are one of my favorite places to take a stroll.

In Kaohsiung, the White House Art Village and Qiaotou Sugar Factory are one of my favorite spots for a short walk. The White House Art Village is hidden in the alleys of Rehe Street. The white old house has been converted into an art and cultural space, integrating the historical sense of the old building with modern creativity. The ingenious works of artists can be seen everywhere, making people walk and take pictures, and surprise again and again. The afternoon sun shines on the white walls, quiet and charming.

Qiaotou Sugar Factory, not far from the city, retains a strong Japanese style and sugar industry culture. Walking along the old train tracks, the sound of birds and the breeze are particularly healing. There are nostalgic shops and ice cream stalls along the way. You may as well sit down and eat an old-fashioned stick ice cream and slowly feel the simplicity and charm of this place.

These two places are pedestrian-friendly and have different styles. They are a good choice to slow down and experience local culture on weekends.
