[Kathmandu] Swayambhunath

Swayambhunath - "Nepal's oldest Buddhist temple"
This city, said to be "a town where more gods than people live," is dotted with many religious facilities, mainly Hindu and Buddhist.

There are stairs to get to the top. They were steep and had many steps.

Also known as the Monkey Temple, as the name suggests, there are many monkeys. When I went there, no harm was done.

Tarchyo. A five-colored prayer flag used in Tibetan Buddhism. Blue represents the sky, white the wind, red the fire, green the water, and yellow the earth, and each one has a sutra written on it.
