Excellent Vietnamese Chinese food in a seedy back alley

It was the first time I'd heard the word "Vietnamese Chinese"

What does that mean? ? I wondered as I visited for lunch

The entrance made me hesitate, wondering if it was OK to go in

Once I stepped inside, I was relieved to see that the interior was surprisingly clean. lol

They have a wide variety of lunch menus, but
there were so many things I wanted to eat that day that I ordered them individually🤤

✔︎TRANEM (fried spring rolls) 1350 yen
✔︎gaquay (fried chicken) 1450 yen
✔︎BANHQUN (steamed spring rolls) 1150 yen
✔︎Cho-nan fried rice (glutinous rice fried rice) 990 yen
✔︎Sanxian tangfen (rice noodle soup) 1210 yen
(※It was a lot of food for three women to finish🐷)

Mysterious capital and lowercase notations,
a chaotic mix of various notations

But it's in Tabelog's 100 best restaurants🧐

Personally,
the fried spring rolls have a homemade feel,
crunchy on the outside! And chewy inside!
and delicious🤤

Vietnamese Chinese
A taste that makes you want to drink beer🍻

Crunchy! Mochi! Maybe it's the chewy texture that makes it so special?

It's a bit of a climb from Sannomiya Station, but
I like it🫶💓

It was pouring rain, so
it wasn't full, but my mother said
you can't get in unless you make a reservation!

Thank you for the meal🙏
