Address – Ho Kau Hainanese Tea House 1, Jalan Balai Polis, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur
Environment/Facilities-Antique retro teahouse style
Speciality - Malaysian 🇲🇾special breakfast, very authentic👍
Price per person – RM 20 Highly cost-effective breakfast
Rating – 9.5/10 Definitely recommend
This 60-year-old Hainanese tea restaurant (He Jiu Hainanese Tea House) is only open half a day (7:30am-3pm). I guess except for Monday (closed for a break), there is always a queue (we went there at 8 o'clock and didn't get breakfast until almost 9 o'clock). Queuing has really become his signature 😄
The decoration of the store is also very retro Nanyang style. Friends who like taking pictures should not miss it.
In addition, He Jiu Hainanese Tea Restaurant is so popular that there is a queue even for the two floors above and below, so it is strongly recommended that you get a number at the door and calculate the time before going to the surrounding Guizai Street for a walk and then coming back to eat. The queue is estimated to be more than 40 minutes, unless you get a small table (for 1-2 people), which is faster.
Recommended 😘😘
Curry Rice Roll
Traditional Peanut Butter Buns (Must Order)
Nasi Lemak
Kava Butter Bread
Dry curry rice noodles (excellent curry)
Of course, Hainan tea/coffee is a must-try ☕️, both iced and hot are top-notch 👍👍
