Getting there: You can take KTM and stop at Bank Negara station. The museum is just around 8 minutes walk away.

Highlights: The Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial is a good place to learn about the first prime minister and his life journey pre and post independence. I appreciate the classic cars, especially the black caddy. Visiting here is like revisiting 1950s Malaysia. I admired the colonial style buildings. I would definitely come again with the children so that they know a little bit about history.

Opening hours: 9am to 5pm daily, closed on Monday
