#TravelMalaysia invites you to visit the Chinese temple in Kuala Lumpur. Thean Hou Temple is a Chinese temple located on a hill, featuring altars for three deities: the main deity is Mazu, the goddess of the sea and navigation who protects fishermen. There are also statues of the Bodhisattva Guan Yin and the Water Goddess Shui Wei Niang. This temple was built by the Hainanese community living in Malaysia and is decorated with lanterns and traditional Chinese architecture. Incense and flowers are sold here. You can walk up to the top floor to enjoy the scenic view. It is recommended to avoid visiting during festivals as it gets very crowded.
The best way to get there is by taxi or Grab since the temple is located on a hill.
