Kumamoto's Suizenji Garden: Matcha-Filled Even in the Rain! ☔️🍃

My first stop in Kumamoto was the beautiful Suizenji Jojuen Garden (水前寺成趣园)! Even with a light "sun shower" falling, it had a unique, charming atmosphere that I really enjoyed.

The garden opens at 8:30 AM, and admission is 400 yen per person, which is great because the ticket allows multiple entries on the same day. The main highlight, of course, is the miniature Mount Fuji replica, which truly stands out. Even under a light drizzle, the garden retained its vibrant, almost matcha-like green, creating a tranquil and picturesque scene.
