The ancient town of Zhouzhuang is located in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, China. The entire town is built along the river, with winding alleys exuding the atmosphere of an ancient street. Zhouzhuang is not only one of the six ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River, but also has the reputation of China's first water town. It was also the first batch of national 5A-level tourist attractions🥰
Zhouzhuang has a "Shen Hall" for people to visit, which was built by Shen Benren, a descendant of the wealthy businessman Shen Wansan, in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It is a very representative Jiangnan water town building. It covers a vast area and has more than 100 rooms, which shows how rich the Shen family is🤩
When you come to Zhouzhuang, how can you not eat Wan San Hoi? Wansan hoof is actually a kind of red-roasted hoof, which is said to be a food offered to Zhu Yuanzhang by Shen Wansan. It is famous for its fresh skin and meat, which melts in your mouth🐖
There are many small bridges in Zhouzhuang, you can take a photo for a while ❤️ But here it is raining and wet for most of the year, or that's why it's kind of miserable 🥰
