[Okayama Prefecture/Kurashiki City] A review of the up-and-coming Kura Cafe, which is difficult to book

Okayama 𓂃 𓈒𓏸 Kurashiki/Kojima ROJAN BŌRO
We visited the up-and-coming ROJAN BŌRO, which has been gaining popularity since its opening last June.
Located in Kojima, Kurashiki, a neighborhood famous for its jeans, this patisserie was renovated from a 1919 private home.
Next to the patisserie is a renovated storehouse where customers can dine in, limited to one or two groups per day.

It's so luxurious to have this space all to yourself! 😭The menu only includes one dessert plate (drink included).
Choose one cake from the display case and then enjoy several other small cakes. On this day, we chose: Stollen Opera Cheese Terrine
The cakes we chose were: Mont Blanc au Marron (Japanese chestnut and blackcurrant) and Japanese chestnut chocolate Mont Blanc
It felt like a taste of autumn and winter all at once. 🥰💕
Both of the tart crusts are Rojan Boro's special, filled with dark cherries. 🥺
Honestly, I was surprised at how satisfying just these were...! There's no seating fee, and the ¥1580 price tag is great value! Private reservations are typically for 2-3 people and are limited to 90 minutes. The menu changes with the seasons, so it's great to visit any time.
You can purchase takeout from the patisserie without a reservation. 🛒
The dine-in option is incredibly popular and requires monthly reservations. Check out their Instagram for details. ☝️
Also, I visited the second cafe in October, and the staff at the main store remembered me and greeted me, which made me so happy. 😮💨! I truly believe that customer service is important. 🥹♡𓐄 ...
