I went to Yasaka Shrine in Kyoto❗️

Kiyomizu-dera Temple → Sannenzaka → Ninenzaka → Nene no Michi

After a leisurely stroll around Higashiyama, I finally arrived at Yasaka Shrine!

Yasaka Shrine is home to the Gion Festival, one of Japan's three major festivals.

It is said to have been started to quell epidemics, but the Gion Festival is actually the festival of Yasaka Shrine!

Stretching straight east from the Nishi-romon Gate,

Shijo Street,

The shopping streets in front of the shrine are lined with a variety of shops, making it a great place for food and souvenirs!

And so many other famous restaurants, it's hard to decide where to go!
