Buddhist temple in Kyoto covered in gold leaf

Konkani-ji temple is one of the most popular zen temple in Kyoto, Japan that attracted many tourists due to its temple covered with gold leafs! Entrance fee is 400¥ and it is worth it once you entered the sacred place. The surroundings are magnificent even in all seasons. Best to visit during Spring or even during winter snow. The sights are different during different seasons.

A must visit while in Kyoto. You will not regret it. There are too many angles for great pictures and at the same time enjoy the cosy surroundings. You will be at a praying temple upon checking out. A SL huge souvenir store is also available during check out. Be sure to get some souvenir such as good luck charms and fragrance joysticks. Also sometimes they sell champagne with gold leafs for 700¥ per bottle.
