Cherry blossoms and plum blossoms at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine

These are the cherry blossoms at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto.
Kitano Tenmangu Shrine is located about 30 minutes by train or bus from Kyoto Station.
The cherry blossoms here are best seen from February to March, and although they are sparse this year, you can still see them blooming.
I wasn't sure which ones they were, but it seems that the cherry blossoms at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine are a rare variety called Kitano Sakura.
In addition to the cherry blossoms, there is also a plum garden, which is very gorgeous.
It is located in an easy-to-access location to other tourist spots such as Imamiya Shrine and Kinkakuji Temple, so if you go to Kyoto, I recommend you to visit it.
