"Takashi Murakami Reiki Kyoto" Exhibition: 170 works, Higashiyama Cube, Kyoto New Building

The exhibition Murakami Reiki Kyoto is the first time Murakami has held a major solo exhibition in Japan after eight years, and it is also his first solo exhibition in a Japanese city outside Tokyo.

Before entering the museum I was attracted by the golden statue outside, which had been displayed in Roppongi before, the real body I saw for the first time!

The exhibition features 170 works by Takashi Murakami, both old and new, and I was most impressed by the paintings about dragons in the dark room, painted in great detail.


I hope to visit again before the exhibition ends, but it seems a bit difficult😌.
