[Kyoto Prefecture] The head shrine of Inari Shrines, with its vivid vermilion color!

Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine of the approximately 30,000 Inari shrines across Japan. The main hall, designated an Important Cultural Property, was destroyed by fire during the Onin War in 1468 during the Muromachi period, but was rebuilt in 1499.

It is one of the largest shrine buildings in Japan, and is characterized by its dazzling decorations. The vivid vermilion color was very beautiful.
