Journey Through A Thousand Torii at Fushimi Inari Shrine

Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto is one of Japan's most iconic Shinto shrines. It is dedicated to Inari, the deity of rice, fertility, and prosperity.

Getting There - You can get there by local train. Even the Fushimi Inari station was beautifully decorated in the same style as the shrine itself.

Attractions -
1. Torii gates
This place is famous for its thousands of vibrant orange torii gates. It forms a scenic pathway up to Mount Inari. You can take a hike up to the top of Mount Inari and get breathtaking views of Kyoto.
2. Main shrine
The main building of Fushimi Inari Shrine has beautiful architecture and is a important place for ceremonies.
3. Fox statues
Foxes are regarded as messengers of Inari. You will see many fox statues around the entire area.
