Hosenin, famous for its framed garden

Kyoto is beautiful in autumn, but there are so many people that it's hard to walk..😭
This trip, I went to Ohara, which has fewer tourists!
It's a pretty mountain village that reminds me of Sen and Chihiro😍
It takes about 50 minutes by bus from Gion Shijo,
but if you can get a seat because there are no transfers, you'll arrive surprisingly quickly😊
(Take bus no. 17 or 19 to the final stop)
When you get off the bus and go up the road to Sanzen-in, you'll see restaurants and shops✨
There were more Japanese restaurants and dessert shops than I thought!
We first ate at the Japanese restaurant at the entrance of the village, but it was more expensive than I thought😳
There are many restaurants with much better value for money near the entrance of Sanzenin, so I recommend going all the way up and choosing🥲
The way up is also full of Ghibli emotions~
The best part is that there were not many people, so I could focus only on the scenery💕
If you pay 500 yen at the main building of Sanzenin and sit in a paid seat, they will bring you warm matcha and yokan!
The matcha was just the right amount of bitterness for my taste!
Since it was a temple built in 784, it felt overwhelming, and
the trees were also huge! The scenery is beautiful and the air is good~🍃
I want to go again with my parents next time✨
