An ancient temple in Yamashina, Kyoto 🥰Famous for its autumn leaves 🍁Bishamon-do temple gate site 🍁

"Bishamon-do"

Today, we would like to introduce Bishamon-do Monzeki in Yamashina, Kyoto 🥰

This is one of the five Tendai sect temples, and since it is located on the mountainside, the air is clean and it has a dignified atmosphere.

It is a Tendai sect temple that enshrines Bishamonten, one of the Seven Lucky Gods, and is also known as Izumo-dera.

There is a garden called Bansuien here, which has a pond with a heart character inside, and a weeping cherry tree about 150 years old in the front garden, where you can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring🌸

In autumn, the autumn leaves that seem to pile up on the stone steps of the approach are magnificent, and it is also a famous spot for autumn leaves🍁

It is a temple where nature and traditional architecture are in harmony, and you can feel the grace of the four seasons of Japan, so I recommend it🥰
