Fushimi Inari Shrine: A Path of Faith Beneath the Torii Shadows

Fushimi Inari Taisha, located in Kyoto, Japan, is a Shinto shrine with a long history. Established in 711 AD by the Hata clan, it is dedicated to Inari, the deity of agriculture, commerce, and prosperity.

The highlight of this shrine is the thousands of vibrant red torii gates that form a tunnel leading up Mount Inariyama, which stands approximately 233 meters tall. Most of these torii gates are donated by individuals and organizations as a gesture of gratitude to Inari for granting their wishes.
