🇯🇵 Yamato-bashi bridge

We were wandering around Kyoto and stumbled upon this beautiful bridge. Yamatobashi Bridge is a quaint stone bridge over the Shirakawa River in Gion, Kyoto, We could feel the strong historical atmosphere. The bridge was built with stone pillars, stone girders, and stone slabs during the Edo period, and the current bridge was rebuilt in 1912. The architecture of houses by the river looks nice and add on to the Kyoto atmosphere.
