Last week, I went on a day trip to Kyoto, and of course, I couldn't miss out on the food!
Tucked away in an alley next to the BAL shopping mall in Shijo Kawaramachi, I discovered this hidden gem of a wagyu yakiniku restaurant. Though the location is a bit obscure, it's incredibly popular—a true treasure!
This time, I ordered the 7,000 yen set menu, which was great value for money. The quality of the meat was absolutely stunning!
・The raw beef tartare was tender, refreshing, and perfectly seasoned.
・The trio of beef tongue offered a variety of textures, a dream come true for beef tongue lovers.
・The beautifully plated wagyu platter was rich in marbling yet not greasy at all!
The meal also came with Korean-style side dishes, salad, and cold noodles, which balanced the flavors and left me fully satisfied✨. The overall taste was a fusion of Japanese yakiniku and Korean flavors, making it perfect for those who want something special but not overly heavy.
