Nonomiya Shrine is a cute shrine and it’s known for visitors to come and seek luck in love and relationships. It has great historical significance as it was the place where the young, unmarried princesses and empresses went through purification. It’s free admission for all and it opens from 9 am to 5 pm without rest days. There are more things to wish for at Nonomiya shrine in these days such as health and wisdom, children, safe childbirth, and prosperous business. One of the way to reach Nonomiya shrine is taking train to Arashiyama Station and walk for about 5 minutes to Tenryū-ji.
