Autumn at Yusai-tei and Rurikoin

The long-awaited visits to Yusai-tei, Rurikoin, and the rickshaw ride in Arashiyama were all completed over the past two days.

Yusai-tei and Rurikoin, even without the vibrant colors of late autumn, are still stunningly beautiful, leaving visitors enchanted. Their inherent charm and authenticity truly shine through.

Having visited Arashiyama multiple times, this time I decided to try a rickshaw ride while dressed in a kimono. The rickshaw puller worked tirelessly in the rain and mud, which was truly admirable. Although I don't fully understand the techniques involved in pulling a rickshaw, it's clear that the pullers need considerable physical strength and stamina to meet the demands of a full day of tourists.

The bamboo grove in Arashiyama appeared even more enchanting as the rickshaw slowly passed through.
