A must-visit spot for autumn leaves - Kyoto Rurikoin Temple

Kyoto Rurikoin has always been on my Kansai bucket list! I can finally get there during the autumn leaf season🥹.

Unfortunately, I didn’t go when the autumn leaves were at their peak, and the next one would have to be in the last week of November, which I believe works better.

There is also a place for copying scriptures in the courtyard. Before entering, a copy of scripture and a pen will be distributed. After admiring the scripture leaves, you can go and copy scriptures.

Remember to make an appointment online before you go, otherwise your trip will be in vain.

Access: From [Demachiyanagi Station], take the Eizan Tram (bound to Hase Hiroyuki Yamaguchi), get off at [Yase Hiei Yamaguchi Station] and walk for 5 minutes
