Autumn leaves on Mount Atago

Mount Atago is a sacred mountain located in the Kiyotaki area in northern Kyoto. It is famous for being the head temple of all the Atago shrines in Japan, located at the summit, and is visited by many climbers and worshippers. The mountain trail is the approach to the shrine, but it is a fairly steep climb, so some preparation is necessary. Nevertheless, if you climb it, you can stroll through Kyoto's rich nature. The scenery is especially beautiful during the autumn foliage season.
