🌿 Kula Kangri: A Hidden Gem for Trekking Enthusiasts in Shannan, Tibet
Location: Kula Kangri is situated in Lhozhag County, Shannan City, Tibet, in the middle section of the Himalayas. Its main peak stands at an elevation of 7,538 meters, alongside six other peaks over 7,000 meters, forming a spectacular icy barrier. It is hailed as one of the "Four Great Sacred Mountains of Central Tibet."
Highlights:
Glacial Wonders: The northern side features a glacier stretching over 10 kilometers, showcasing breathtaking ice towers and cliffs.
Sacred Lakes: The southern side is surrounded by high-altitude lakes such as Baimalin Co and Jiejiu Co, which are said to reveal glimpses of past and future lives.

Baimalin Co
Known as the "Soul Lake" of Guru Rinpoche, its waters display shades of blue, green, and white. Legend has it that those with a destined connection can see their past lives.
Jiejiu Co
With milky-white waters, this is the best spot to view the reflection of Kula Kangri. From May to June, alpine rhododendrons bloom around the lake.
Pumo Yong Co
Dubbed the "Maiden Lake," it features stunning blue ice in winter and vibrant blue waters in summer. The Pushi Monastery offers the best panoramic view of the lake.
Samye Monastery
The first monastery in Tibet, blending Tibetan, Han, and Indian architectural styles. Its murals and structures are of great artistic value.
