Lisbon feels like a city painted by happiness itself. Every corner shines with colors—bright yellow trams, blue-tiled buildings, and orange rooftops that sparkle under the sun. I started my day in Alfama, walking uphill through narrow cobblestone lanes where the sound of fado floated through open windows. Locals waved, cats stretched lazily in the sun, and every turn revealed another postcard-perfect view. Lunch was fresh grilled sardines by the Tagus River—simple, flavorful, unforgettable. As sunset arrived, I found myself at Miradouro da Senhora do Monte, watching the city turn gold. The view was pure magic. Lisbon doesn’t try too hard; it simply is beautiful.
