A springtime affair ends with the sunrise over the starry sea of flowers at Dawei Mountain

The wind rises, flowers bloom, stars ascend, sunrise.

On May 12th, after a two-hour drive from Changsha, I arrived at Dawei Mountain National Forest Park in Liuyang City, to encounter a sea of flowers under the stars at sunrise. When I left Changsha, I had no expectations, and it was still a gloomy overcast day when I reached Liuyang City. It even drizzled a little past seven o'clock, but after ten o'clock, the clouds on the mountain began to disperse, revealing the stars. By two o'clock in the morning, the starry sky was clearly visible.
The sunrise came as expected the next morning, and the mountain was extremely clear. The batteries for both the camera and the drone were completely drained!
Dawei Mountain National Forest Park
Admission: 190 yuan + shuttle bus 20 yuan (The shuttle bus operates from 8:00 to 17:30)
Parking is at the Honglian Temple parking lot, now during the Azalea Festival, cars can only park here
The star photography spot is next to the source of the Liuyang River, and the sunrise time is around 5:30 in the morning
The temperature on the mountain is a bit low, about eighteen degrees at night, so it's necessary to wear a jacket
