St Luke's Bombed Out Church built between 1811 and 1831, it was heavily bombed during World War II, with bombs destroying parts of the structure. It was decided not to restore it to preserve the memory of the war. The church stands as a memorial to those who died during the war and also hosts events. A poignant reminder of the cost of war, but also a symbol of Liverpool's spirit in the face of adversity. Highly recommended.
Open daily from time: 11:00am until 17:00pm
Closed every Monday and Tuesday.
