🙏🙏The highlight of Wat Pa Phu Thap Boek is the Phra Mahathat Chedi Phothipakkhiyatham, which stands prominently atop a high mountain. The golden spire of the chedi is dazzlingly beautiful when the sunlight hits it. Inside the chedi are enshrined relics of the Lord Buddha, a reclining Buddha, and the Phra Sri Ariya Maitreya Buddha. The chedi is lacquered and gilded, adorned with precious stones and gems, and is incredibly beautiful.
🙏🙏The path leading up to the chedi features a staircase of nine-headed silver and gold nagas, decorated with beautiful patterns. The climb is easy, as you can stop and take photos along the way.
