Sip tea and eat red pork leg soup at Doi Mae Salong 🌱🍜

#ChiangraiTravel

This trip took us to Doi Mae Salong, which is about 65 kilometers from Chiang Rai city. The charming destination is Santikiri Village. The road to this village is full of shade and freshness. Both sides of the road are decorated with lush green tea plantations and agricultural areas that stretch as far as the eye can see. It is not difficult to drive up, and the view along the way is so beautiful that we had to stop and take pictures at many points.

A tea shop that we stopped by became another highlight of this trip. The shop welcomed us by brewing various types of tea, including Nang Ngam Tea, which has a smooth taste, Oolong Tea No. 12, which has a fragrant smell, and Hom Wan Li Tea, which has its own unique characteristics. Every glass is served with meticulous care, along with an exciting explanation of how to brew the tea, which enhances the taste.

At noon, we stopped to recharge at a famous restaurant in the area. The must-try menu items are the red pork leg soup, which has a rich and well-rounded taste, and various types of dim sum that are both fresh and delicious beyond the price. The food here is so delicious that we want to order more, plus the price is easy on the pocket.

Before returning, we did not forget to stop by to buy souvenirs to our hearts' content. Premium oolong tea, local snacks, and tea products that can only be found here.

This trip was not only filled with beautiful views and delicious food, but also an experience that allowed us to truly immerse ourselves in the culture and charm of Doi Mae Salong!
