Moments of Radiance on the Small Island of Malta

Malta was not big, but the scenery and air contained within it were so rich. The atmosphere of the city created by the Mediterranean sunshine, wind, and unique architecture that mixed Europe and Arabia was unfamiliar from the beginning, but quickly permeated my heart.
The old town of Valletta was like a really small maze. The scenery created by the yellow limestone buildings, narrow stone streets, and the blue sea suddenly appearing at the end of the stairs was so beautiful that it was impossible to capture it all at once. The Grand Harbor seen from the Upper Barrakka Gardens showed all the charms of Malta at a glance.
The Blue Lagoon on Comino Island was the highlight of my trip to Malta. As soon as I got off the boat, the emerald sea that was so clear and transparent unfolded. The time I floated on the water and looked at the sky and the sea at the same time remains vivid even now.
St. Julian's and Sliema were places where I could feel Malta's leisurely daily life. The cafes and restaurants along the seaside promenade, the sunset over the sea, and the day ended with a glass of local wine were the most perfect.
Malta is a special travel destination even without much to see. Rather, it is a place where you can spend the most time looking at the sea and alleys without doing anything. That is why you keep missing it even after you leave.
