2 Days in Malta – A Golden Getaway from Italy 🇮🇹✈️🇲🇹

Malta may be small enough to see in one glance, but each day offered new landscapes and emotions. From the warm Mediterranean sunshine and breeze, to the unique alleyways blending European and Arabian influences, and the tranquil moments that felt like floating on the sea—everything here moved at a slow pace.
Valletta's old town was lively during the day and transformed into a quietly glowing city by evening. The stone buildings, small balconies, and stairways winding along the hills added depth to the city's charm. The view of the Grand Harbor and the blue sea from the Upper Barrakka Gardens was the first breathtaking moment of my Malta journey.
Comino Island's Blue Lagoon felt like Malta's true gem. The moment I dipped my feet into the water, its clarity was so surreal that it felt like stepping into a dream. Jumping off the boat to swim and gazing at the sky and sea was the freest moment of this trip.
Sliema and St. Julian's were places where Malta's everyday life and travel blended seamlessly. Walking along the seaside promenade with a cup of coffee and watching the sunset slowly blanket the sea was enough to fill an entire day.
Malta may not have an abundance of attractions, but it was uniquely special. In fact, the moments of doing nothing became the most precious. Even after leaving, I keep thinking about the breeze and the sea of this place.
