Japanese restaurant, Kamikochi Fried Chicken Restaurant

When I arrived at Kamikochi at noon, I was surprised by the huge crowds of people there. It felt like I was in Mong Kok in Hong Kong instead of the suburbs. All restaurants have long queues.

📍Location: On the second floor of the Kamikochi Tourist Center.

🏠Environment: There is a souvenir shop near the entrance, providing souvenirs and food with unique characteristics. Leave your reservation name at the door and pick up a card. The room is spacious with many seats that are close together. However, there are large windows on three sides to let in light, so you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Hotaka Mountain Range while enjoying dishes made with Shinshu ingredients.

🤵🏻Service: Orders are taken manually, and there are too many customers, so you need to be patient when placing orders and serving the food.

🍽️Lunch: Set meals are available, including ramen 🍜, curry rice 🍛, soba noodles 🍜, etc., with a variety of choices.

🐷Katsudon🍚 ¥1680
😂I had the fried pork cutlet donburi with scrambled egg again. This time, the pork cutlets were thickly cut into large pieces, and the meat was dry and firm 🙂. It wasn’t as delicious as the one in Towada Lake 😗, but it wasn’t bad either. It just tasted normal and was very filling.

🐥Sanchi Yakiきラーメン🍜 ¥1680
Sanzeiyaki actually refers to fried chicken🍗, with large portions😍, fried upon order, crispy skin, tender and juicy meat😋, still crispy even when soaked in soup, but the fried flour is quite thick, 🍜 the soy sauce ramen portion is average, but the chicken fillet is really authentic and delicious, 👍🏻 I recommend Sanzeiyaki.
