The Matsumoto City Museum of Art is a wonderful place where you can experience the world of Yayoi Kusama even outside the museum.

Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, is Yayoi Kusama's hometown, and the "Yayoi Kusama: A Place for Soul" exhibition is being held until the end of March 2026.

Polka dots are everywhere, and even the vending machines, benches, and trash cans in the museum are decorated with red polka dots, creating a very cute and unique space.
