Matsumoto Castle (Crow Castle), Nagano

#JapanTravel Matsumoto Castle (Matsumoto) is very important because it is one of the four castles registered as national treasures of Japan, along with Hikone Castle, Himeji Castle, and Inuyama Castle.
The most prominent feature of Matsumoto Castle is the black outer castle walls and the spreading of the buildings like bird wings, earning it the nickname "Crow Castle", which has a very unique beauty. However, on the day I went, it was closed, what a pity.
