Soba Syo, a homemade soba shop in front of Matsumoto Castle

Soba Syo (そば庄 松本城店) is a soba shop located in front of Matsumoto Castle. What makes this shop special is that the shop makes its own soba noodles, so the noodles are flexible and chewy, with a unique taste unlike any other.

The recommended menu here is "Saru Soba", fresh soba noodles served with sauce, and "Soba Oyaki", a bun-like dish made from dough and rounded with seasoned pickled vegetables inside.
