Malacca scenery 😍

Malacca (Malacca / Melaka) is an ancient seaport located at the hub of the exit of the Strait of Malacca. The Sumatran prince Parameswara founded the Malacca Sultanate, which brought prosperity to the area. Malacca was once the spice trade center of the region and was once known as the Venice of the East.

Walking into any alley in the center of Malacca, it is not difficult to find many old buildings, traditional trades and handicrafts. The quaint atmosphere has made it a tourist destination with the most tourists visiting Malaysia. The architectural design here fully demonstrates the colonial influence of Portugal, the Netherlands and Britain. Now follow us to stroll through the city center and enjoy the scenery of the ancient capital.

Malacca’s historical sites include the Stadthuys, Christ Church, St. Paul’s Church and A’Famosa, built by the Portuguese in 1511. Jalan Hung Jebat (Jonker’s Street) is home to antique shops, art studios and souvenir shops. #Malacca
