Melbourne 7-Day 6-Night Itinerary

Day 1: Flight delayed, landed at 12 PM. After checking into the hotel, head to Victoria Market. Since it's Sunday, there are many mobile stalls and locals shopping for groceries to cook at home.

Dinner: Rare Steakhouse Midtown
📍Address: 12 Goldie Pl, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia

A local-recommended steakhouse with a great ambiance. Make reservations in advance, as it’s usually fully booked. The kangaroo meat skewers were a bit tough, but my husband said the steak was excellent and very cost-effective.

Day 2: One-day tour of the Great Ocean Road, including the Twelve Apostles.

Day 3: One-day tour featuring Brighton Bathing Boxes, Puffing Billy Steam Train, and Penguin Parade in the evening.

Dinner: Pho Bo Ga Mekong
A bowl of Vietnamese fish ball noodle soup for AUD 18—delicious.

Day 4: One-day tour of wineries, a chocolate factory, and spotting wild kangaroos.

Dinner: Mensho Tokyo Ramen Melbourne (Michelin-rated ramen)
📍Address: 166 Russell St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia

Day 5: City tour (take a photo sitting on the chair Jay Chou sat on 🤭). Visit the library, Royal Arcade, Lune Croissant, Flinders Street Station, Southbank for lunch, stroll along the riverside, shop at DFO Outlet, and enjoy Thai cuisine for dinner.

Day 6: One-day tour of a national park to see wildlife.

Day 7: Early flight back home.

July is very cold, similar to the coldest days of winter in Hong Kong.
