· It's about a 20-minute walk from the Kurokawa Onsen bus stop, but the inn offers a free shuttle service (reservations recommended) to the center of the hot spring town, making it very convenient.
· If you're driving, the inn offers free parking.

🌿 Ryokan Features and Experience: Ryokan Kounoyu is nestled on a hill slightly away from the hot spring town, surrounded by natural forests. The setting is quiet and private, and with only nine rooms, we guarantee a peaceful and high-quality stay.

· Hot Spring Experience:
· All guest rooms feature private baths: Each room comes with an open-air or semi-open-air bath, filled with 100% source hot spring water. Enjoy a private soak in the hot springs anytime, enjoying the natural scenery outside your window.
· Japan's Deepest Tateyu: The ryokan's open-air bath, Mori-no-Yu, boasts Japan's deepest tateyu (162cm for men and 130cm for women). Soaking in it offers a unique sense of openness, a must-try.
· Private Family Baths: The "Ama-no-Yu" private baths are available for free reservation and offer panoramic mountain views, allowing for an undisturbed soak in the hot springs.
· Room Experience:
· The ryokan offers two main room types: the bungalow-style Japanese-Western-style room (a single-story structure combining Japanese and Western-style rooms) and the duplex-style Japanese-style room (a spacious duplex).
· The rooms are spacious and clean, imbued with a Japanese charm. Some rooms also feature massage chairs for a relaxing soak.
· Dining Experience:
· Utilizing the "local production, local sales" concept, the hotel utilizes local seasonal ingredients to create exquisite, creative kaiseki cuisine, earning rave reviews for both presentation and flavor.
· Dinner is served in your room or in a private dining room. Typical dishes include Aso's signature horse meat sashimi and black birch beef teppanyaki, with a wide selection of children's menus available.
