Katsuo-ji Temple, filled with Daruma

This trip to Osaka, I finally got to visit Katsuo-ji Temple, a place I'd longed to visit!
I've always loved Daruma temples. I used to envy everyone taking photos there. This time, when I get the chance to visit Osaka again, I'm determined to see them. Although Katsuo-ji Temple is quite far and requires a bus transfer, I think it's truly worth the trip. The entrance was breathtaking. There were so many cute little Daruma temples everywhere, I couldn't stop snapping photos. We arrived around 10:00 AM, and it was already quite crowded. (Those who can afford a taxi should arrive early to avoid competing for photos.) Upon entering, you're given a blank postcard to stamp at points A-F to create a picture. It was so cool!
The temple itself is quite large, so taking your time to explore and take photos should take you 1.5 to 2 hours.
You can also buy Daruma temples to make wishes on, so take your time if you're interested!
I bought my tickets on trip.com. You can buy tickets on site, but there might be a line! Conclusion: This is a great place, I love it 🥰
