As one of Tohoku's top three cherry blossom destinations, Morioka Castle Ruins Park dazzles with approximately 200 Somei-Yoshino trees creating a breathtaking "stone walls embraced by sakura" spectacle. From mid to late April, when ancient castle ruins contrast vividly with pink blossoms, this becomes a pilgrimage site for photographers.
