#holidayitinerary Exploring the State Historical Museum in Moscow was such a cool way to learn more about the country’s history. First off, the building itself is gorgeous with its red brick and towers, it’s one of the most iconic sights on Red Square. Inside, the vibe is really calm and the layout is super organized. The exhibits take you through Russian history from ancient times all the way to the early twentieth century.
There are tons of artifacts like old weapons, jewelry, royal outfits, and even fossils. It’s honestly packed with stuff but doesn’t feel too overwhelming. Some of the rooms have amazing ceilings and interior designs that are just as interesting as the displays. I spent a couple hours walking through and felt like I barely scratched the surface. Even if you’re not a big museum person, this one is definitely worth visiting just for the atmosphere and the cool collection. A great mix of learning and visual fun.
