Sun, Sand, and Turtles at Iztuzu Beach

#summervacay Spent the day at Iztuzu Beach, aka Turtle Beach, and honestly, it was such a chill vibe. The place is famous for being a nesting spot for loggerhead turtles, which is already cool enough, but even if you don’t spot any turtles, the beach itself is totally worth it. Super long stretch of golden sand, calm water, and surrounded by nature… no giant resorts or loud crowds. Just peace and sun.

The water was super warm and perfect for swimming. Plus, the scenery around is just gorgeous, mountains, pine trees, and this wild feeling like you’re far away from everything. There’s a conservation center at one end of the beach where you can learn more about the turtles (and maybe see a few in recovery). That part was really wholesome.

You can get here by boat from Dalyan, which is a whole mini adventure on its own. Would 100% recommend packing snacks, sunscreen, and just spending the whole day lounging and floating around. Pure beach bliss.
