Phum Norom Temple, Mukdahan Province

This temple is located in Tambon Si Bunrueang, Mueang District, Mukdahan Province. It is a temple located on a hilltop by the Mekong River. To get to Wat Phumonrom, you must take a temple’s shared taxi up to the top. The way up is not steep and can be easily reached by the elderly. There are two highlights up there: the large naga statue called “Phra Sri Mukda Maha Munee Nilpalan Naga” and the large Buddha statue “Phra Chao Yai Kaew Mukda Sri Trairat” located on the highest point of the temple. It was built to honor His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX. Phra Sri Mukda Maha Munee Nilpalan Naga is very famous among tourists, both for its exquisite artistry, its magnificent grandeur, and its renowned sacredness. This naga is approximately 20 meters high and has a coiled body of 122 meters long, facing the Mekong River. It can be called a very grand architecture and is another beautiful photo spot for all tourists. #TipForeignCity #WorldHeritage #AncientSiteTravel #BuffetReview #CafeReview #SecretLocation #NorthEastTeam #CentralTeam
