Munakata Taisha Hetsumiya in Munakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture is one of the three major shrines of Munakata Taisha that can be visited without crossing the sea by ferry, and is relatively easy to get to.

The beautiful grounds are surrounded by nature and are vast, with the Takamiya Ceremony Site, the Second Shrine, and the Third Shrine. We climbed the Takamiya approach, which is a relatively gentle mountain path with stairs built in.

A monument commemorating the visit of the Crown Prince has been erected in the grounds.

There are regular fortune slips, magatama-shaped strap fortune slips, and fortune slips with various talisman mascots such as turtles, frogs, Ebisu, and beckoning cats. I drew many times hoping for a beckoning cat, but unfortunately I got a lot of money turtles.

It seems that money is not a problem, so I would like to come on a trip to Munakata Taisha again.
