A holy site connecting people's faith from ancient times to the present.
Located in Fukuoka Prefecture, "Munakata Taisha" is one of Japan's most prominent ancient shrines, dedicated to the gods of maritime safety.
It serves as the head shrine for all Munakata shrines across Japan and, along with Okinoshima, is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as an "Island of the Gods."
The main shrine, "Hetsugu," is located on land and is open to the public for worship. The sacred atmosphere here provides a calming experience, making visitors feel at peace just by being there.

About 15 minutes by bus from JR Togo Station. Free parking available.
