The head temple of the Jodo sect, Zenkoji, is located on the left as you enter the grounds of Zenkoji Temple.

Unusually for a large temple, this is a nunnery, and the successive head priests of the Daihonzan, including Anikō-shonin, served as Zenkoji-shonin.
There are various statues.

To the left of the entrance is a Jizo statue, erected in 2012. "One-Hold Jizo"
When times are tough, sad, or difficult, even with your left hand,
The other Jizo statues also have adorable faces, which warm my heart.
